From the post-match interview with Roger Federer at the 2009 Wimbledon championship. Fed obviously had good intentions, but I don’t think he thought this one all the way through. Roger had already won 5 wimbledon titles before his loss to Nadal in 2008, while Andy has yet to win a championship at wimbledon. For the record, I am a huge Andy Roddick fan and this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard him say. It was good to see that he could still make jokes after such a heartbreaking defeat. Roger: Don’t be too sad. I went through some rough ones as well…and one on this court last year so um… I came back and won so…— Andy: Yeah, but you had already won five. Roger: I won five, but still, it hurts.
